Do you even exist as a business if you’re not on social media? The digital world has well and truly taken over and businesses now need to grasp social media channels to engage with a wider audience and seem more trustworthy.
Updating social media platforms daily is not feasible for most people, that’s where scheduling software comes in. It makes it possible to get multiple posts ready to send out automatically on all channels including some of the most popular: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Let’s take a look at some of our favourite scheduling platforms;
Ahead of the game among social media giants, Facebook actually has its own built-in scheduling feature which is great for people who don’t have the budget to use other software (this is free to use!) and don’t need more complex actions to be completed.
The obvious downside here is that you can only schedule for your Facebook page and you would have to go elsewhere to post to your other social profiles.
A well-established scheduling platform, Buffer is great for the lower end requirements with their ‘Pro’ package costing just $15/month for 1 user with 8 separate social accounts attached. They also have Business packages for growing teams.
The scheduling aspect is great and easy to use, however, it will only connect to the most popular social media networks.
Founded in 2008, Hootsuite is possibly one of the first scheduling software to come about and one of the most used. Their set packages cost between £25/month - £520/month and they do have bespoke ‘Enterprise’ option for larger organisations. It has in-built analytics and users can easily schedule and even run ads straight from the platform.
This one is for the professionals and much larger organisations and it has a price tag to suit that, it is by far the most expensive but does offer many features that others may lack on.
